DESCRIPTION
PMM0661 is robust, reliable, and accurate flow controller. It is used to monitor and control flow rate variables by receiving input signals from an external sensor and make a response regarding. PMM0661 is used in several industrial applications such as controlling fluids flow rate through direct connection with pumps or valves, controlling air speed, counting items on conveyor belt in manufacturing sectors and quantifying powder flowing in the air.
There are many methods for controlling the flow rate, the most commonly used: limit, linear, PID, feedforward, fuzzy logic and advance or nonlinear controlling.
The outputs are displayed on a high-resolution OLED display allowing the client to monitor and control the flow rate. In addition, the client can update the controller’s settings configuration remotely through mobile application.
PMM0661 operates under three operational modes:
- Modular operation mode: the module is connected to a PLC by RS485 and implement specific function assigned by the PLC.
- Fail Safe mode: the module should be pre-programmed in case of lost connection with the PLC to carry on its function effectively.
- Stand-alone: the module can be programmed to work as PLC and control the field devices.
PMM0661 is extremely reliable, precise, cost-effective, and accurate with minimum error percentage.
PMM0661 is compatible with two types of output interfaces for external sensors: 4-20mA, 0-10V each type has a connection configuration as two sensors can be connected based on dip switch configuration.
